Yes. We're happy to work with any buyer that can prove its ability to acquire.

Do you do sell side advise?

No. We're happy to support you on the journey to find the best buyer, but we're not sell side advisors.

Am I using your technology?

No, we're purely service based. We use our technology to deliver the best results for you.

what languages are you working in?

We align to the preferred language of the seller - all communication is set to their native language. We're not limited by any geographical scope.

What data will I receive from EquiMatch? How do we track progress?

We'll present you with market mapping, which includes analytics on all target companies.

How do you differentiate from company databases?

Company databases don't have rich information about companies; they're merely using AI for better keywords search. But reality is more complex than just keywords; for example how does one handle a company with 3 business units? We do a full 360' analysis on target companies, hence we're able to perfectly match companies to your strategy. In addition, we profile owners, tailor the messaging, and talk with the sellers - which companies databases don't do.

How many times do you reach out to the target companies?

We developped an AI with CRM automations - we try not to nag owners but we do reach out on multiple channels and multiple times.

Do you reveal my identity to the target companies?

No, unless you specifically ask for it. Our letters are sent without buyer identifies.

Does EquiMatch guarantee that sellers will be ready to negotiate?

Yes. In our discussion with sellers we explain how M&A works and make sure they're open to discuss. If they're not open for discussion, we won't make an introduction.

What information do you need from me?

In the kickoff meeting, we'll ask you about your search criteria and inorganic growth strategy - those will help us find the best targets. In addition, we'll draft together benefits for target companies to work with you.

Can I customize my search criteria or investment strategy with EquiMatch?

Yes, that's part of our core strength. You should be as detailed as possible about what you want in a company, and also what would exclude a company.

How much time does the process take?

It can take as little as a few hours for us to start sending personalized letters to target companies.

Do you give me exclusivity on the target company?

Yes. Once we introduce you to a company, we don't introduce that company to any other buyer until either sides rejects the deal.

Do I need to share my company target list with you?

Ideally yes - so we don't reach out to the same companies unnecessairly. But you don't have to share your list if you prefer not to.

What is your pricing model?

We charge market rate success fees. No retainers, no hidden costs.

Do you do sell side advise?

No. We're happy to support you on the journey to find the best buyer, but we're not sell side advisors.

Do you keep my information confidential?

Yes, only upon your approval we share the information you shard with us. You don't have to share any confidential information if you prefer not to.

Do I need to pay EquiMatch on its service?

No. We're paid by the buyer, only in case you decide to sell your business to him.

What happens if I choose not to move forward with a buyer?

If you decide not to continue with a buyer we introduced you with, we're happy to hear feedback on where the process didn't work for you, and potentially help you find a more suitable partner.

What is EquiMatch’s role in the negotiation and sale process?

Once we introduce you to a potential buyer, we step out of the picture. It's entirely up to you to select your team, but we can't be on it as it would put us in conflicting interests.

What if I’m not actively looking to sell my company?

No one is pressuring you to sell. We're happy to remain in contact nonetheless.

How do you guarantee that you'll find me a good buyer?

We'll work with you to better understand your personal goals, and your company objectives and struggles. Based on your needs, we'll match you with one of the buyers we work with. And if none of them can fulfil your needs, we won't recommend any introduction.
